Lightning Bolt - 13 Monsters

being there for lightening bolt was a very humbling experience i feel very lucky to have seen all those bands/that scene. i just hope in the next cycle its not mainstreamed too bad,but it probably will.

combine Toon Town in roger rabbit w/ Ramones style energy speed aliveness..

I remember seeing a Black Dice/Lightening Bolt/Sonic Youth show down in providence, and sonic youth opened for lightening bolt -which was a big deal to us record nerds - that this big band wouldnt follow this tiny 2 person noise band who played on the floor . the show was out of control.

I like the line about not sleeping thru the night. recently my brain wont let me relax even when falling asleep. my eyes get heavy but then my mind or something jerks them awake even if im really tired - its awful, like i’m on the look out for them to break into my room again. i guess thats it.. cant wait to see if i can sleep more than 4 hours when she leaves. my sister says i dont feel safe.
